Collingwood Magpies v Geelong Cats, Jeremy Howe injury, broken arm, Tyson Stengle clash
Collingwood defender Jeremy Howe was seriously injured in a nasty collision with opponent Tyson Stengle during the third quarter.
Howe landed awkwardly on his arm after putting his body on the line to spoil the ball – immediately looking in distressed.

The 32-year-old had his arm, which is appears likely to be broken, tended to on the ground before play was stopped as the defender was taken from the field on a stretcher.
All of Howe’s teammates came to the gurney to show the club veteran a sign of comfort.
Stengle also left the field and entered the league’s concussion protocols.
Howe was taken from the MCG in an ambulance, accompanied by his wife.
Because of the incident’s graphic nature, no replays were show by the host broadcasters.
